Her background in psychology, coupled with her extensive experience in social services, gives her a unique perspective on the needs and challenges faced by children and families.

As the Director of a department that specializes in ensuring the well-being of these vulnerable populations, Kenesia has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those she serves.

In addition to her work in the public sector, Kenesia’s entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen have led her to success in both real estate and e-commerce. She’s a visionary and a problem solver, who’s able to identify opportunities, and develop innovative solutions to help her businesses succeed.

As the President of Meraki Hospitality & Development, Kenesia’s leadership skills are on full display. Her deep understanding of business and hospitality, and her ability to manage the day to day operations, budgets, and other financial responsibilities has helped the company to succeed. The company is able to create unparalleled hospitality experiences that bring couples together, which is a testament to her ability to lead a team and innovate in the industry.

Kenesia’s ability to handle multiple tasks and work with cross-functional teams are showcased in her role as the Director of another large company, where she manages two separate multi-million-dollar budgets while also providing efficient, quality communication.

A native from Michigan, Kenesia graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University.

Sherri Lambert, Managing Partner 

Sherri Lambert is a seasoned professional with a proven track record of success in the hospitality industry.  With over 25 years of experience in sales, service, and leadership, Sherri brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise having honed her skills in pharmaceutical sales, distribution operations, restaurant service, contract negotiation, and industry consultation.

Sherri’s extensive career background is particularly noteworthy. She is an award-winning Pharmacy Sales Consultant for a Fortune 9 company.  She successfully manages a $200M territory of retail independent pharmacies and continues to increase market share using a consultative sales approach. Sherri is also a skilled negotiator, having managed multimillion-dollar negotiations and contracts throughout her sales career.

In addition to her pharmaceutical experience, Sherri has a strong background in distribution operations. She played a key role in the successful opening of a new $320M distribution center, delivering operational excellence to over 2,000 customers daily. Her leadership was vital to the success of the project which resulted in the most successful operational launch in the organization’s 100-year history.

Sherri also has over a decade of service leadership in the restaurant industry. She quickly became a highly respected leader and trusted advisor at the organization.  Her unique ability to connect with people, earn trust, and provide swift problem resolution made her a standout Operational Leader.

A native from Michigan, Sherri graduated Magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Madonna University and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Sherri is a visionary in the hospitality industry with a unique perspective on the needs of adult couples. As a world traveler, she identified a gap in the luxury travel market for adults-only destinations in the United States. This realization ignited her desire to develop luxury adults-only hotels that offer a highly personalized and memorable experience for couples seeking reconnection.
